Dry leaf medical marijuana goes on sale at Pennsylvania dispensaries

Three local dispensaries will be among the first Sixteen medical marijuana dispensaries in Pennsylvania were set to begin sales of the dry leaf variety Wednesday. Users will not be allowed to smoke it, per state law. The dry leaf would first have to be vaporized. Previously, medical marijuana was only sold in pill, oil, gel, cream or liquid form. Adding dry leaf to that list comes months after Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine adopted changes recommended from an advisory panel. The Cresco Yeltrah dispensaries in Pittsburgh’s Strip District and in Butler are among the first to sell the dry leaf variety. Dry leaf medical marijuana goes on sale at Pennsylvania dispensaries
