A house was left on the brink of collapse after it was converted into an illicit cannabis farm. Officers swooped on a unsafe property on Dibble Road, in Smethwick, where they discovered more than 220 cannabis plants growing throughout, at around 2pm on Thursday. The growers had covered two floors in tons of soil which made the whole structure unstable. The ceiling of one of the upstairs bedrooms was being held in place by makeshift wooden struts while nearly every inch of the property was covered in equipment.
