An indoor marijuana grow of more than 440 plants inside a business was discovered by Rancho Cucamonga sheriff’s deputies when they served a search warrant in the 9400 block of Nineth Street in the city, the station reported Tuesday. The cultivation spot used special lighting, air conditioning, fans, exhaust blowers and an air filtering system for climate control and to manage the odor of marijuana, a San Bernardino County sheriff’s news release said. Joshua Del Real, 29, of Ontario was arrested on suspicion of growing more than the legally allowed six cannabis plants, according to the release. The sheriff’s Marijuana Enforcement aided in the warrant search on Thursday, May 24. The grow operation violated state law as well as San Bernardino County and Rancho Cucamonga ordinances prohibiting commercial cannabis activity, the release said.
