Jamaican national to appear in court on drug charges


Home / Local News / Crime / Jamaican national Patrick Junior Gray is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates Court today on a string of drug related charges. The 47-year-old of Leith Hall District, St Thomas, Jamaica has been charged with unlawful possession of cannabis; unlawful possession with intent to supply cannabis; trafficking cannabis and importation of cannabis. Gray arrived in Barbados on Friday, May 11 on board Caribbean Airlines flight #BW415 from Kingston. After clearing Immigration, he was interviewed by members of the Drug Squad and was subsequently arrested on suspicion that he was in possession of a controlled drug. Gray was taken to the Oistins Police Station where he was interviewed by officers. He admitted to ingesting a controlled drug. Jamaican national to appear in court on drug charges
