A “wholly innocent” woman was arrested after her nephew and his friend set up a £40,000 cannabis farm in her garage without her knowing. Angela Saunders was detained by the police for 18 hours while she was questioned about why more than 40 cannabis plants were found in the outbuilding next to her home. Sentencing her nephew Michael Creed at Cardiff Crown Court , Judge Jeremy Jenkins said: “That is a shameful thing to have done to a member of your own family.” The court heard the offending occurred between November 2015 and June 2016.
