A man has been stabbed following a confrontation between two groups of men outside a pro-cannabis rally in Glasgow. The 21-year-old victim and his four male friends had been on their way to the event at Glasgow Green when they were approached by three other men. An altercation broke out in Turnbull Street, just yards from Glasgow Green, which led to the man being stabbed. He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary but was later released. Police said the incident happened at about 16:15 on Friday when the victim and his friends were walking to Glasgow Green, which was hosting the rally as part of 420 Day. The annual day celebrates cannabis culture and calls for a loosening of laws that ban the drug. Man stabbed on way to pro-cannabis rally
